I am a California native who has two loves in my life (aside from my husband and dog): writing and learning.

That’s why I decided to go back to school in 2009. Now, I have my  M.A. in Online Journalism from the University of Southern California.

While attending USC, wrote extensively for Annenberg Digital News’ site Neon Tommy. At Neon Tommy, I served as a science writer and blogger, associate news editor, and executive producer. My most recent role was deputy editor where managed the site’s large staff, assisted the editor-in-chief, produced content, and managed  the site’s front page content. I also contributed to the site’s 2009 award-winning package on the victims of swine flu.

After graduating from USC, I worked for nearly two years as a web producer for the celebrity news site RadarOnline before deciding to pursue a freelance career in writing and editing. Now, I work full time for Broadcasting & Cable magazine, producing content for the both the site and the weekly print edition as well as publishing site stories and managing multiple newsletters.
